I just spent the last two weeks in Africa filming a series of sweet new youtube videos that I will be releasing this April!! Stoked for you all to see them, here's a teaser from two of the shots I took!
Also, on another EXCITING side note, I will be speaking at VIDCON this summer, at the end of June!!! Which I'm super stoked on!!! :) VIDCON is the biggest youtube conference/gathering in the world, all the big youtubers will be there, and so will the biggest youtube fans. This is the third year they are doing it. I went the first year, and I remember thinking that the people up there speaking were so cool, and now I will be up there as one of them, haha, it's kinda intimidating, but I'm excited to be apart of it. I would have never imagined how this would all turn out.
Here's a link to the event if you want to come, which I think you all should, and make sure to buy tickets if your thinking about coming, because they will sell out!

Also on another really exciting note, my youtube channel has exploded in the last 30 days. In the last 30 days I've gotten over 100,000 subscribers, and just shy of 20 million views on my videos, here's the exact stats :)
So there you have it, the best is yet to come! :)

Go, Devin!
ReplyDeleteI see all the photos on facebook they are wonderful! :)

Devin,
ReplyDeleteSorry to say, you're going to have to adjust the discrepancies in the figures on those stats. The breakdown says that it's 81.6% male vs. 18.4% female... but, here's the catch: I ALWAYS make my wife watch your videos with me!!!
And I usually have my 7yr old daughter hanging on my back (at the computer) and my 20 mo. old in my lap!
The numbers are skewed, I tell ya!!!
:-)
Keep up the good work.
Cheers,
-Tim
Devin,,way to go, get'em! Picture sharing your wonderful images with all of us! you remind us to live life to the fullest, and if you can get it on film and share it with Everyone! Thank you so much for keeping the joy alive!
ReplyDeletehey, LOVE your AMAZING VIDEOS.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, can I know what software are you using for the videos editing. INTERSTED :)
Hey Davin,
ReplyDeleteLongtime watcher/appreciator. Very curious about your technique in terms of shooting on your GlideCam. You've really gotten every pixel of sharpness out of your Mark II and I was wondering what f-stop you tend to go with on your 16-35 when your gliding? Since your always in bright light and don't use an ND, are you always around 22 or something? would love to know a little of the secret sauce.
Keep up the grand work!
Hey Devin,
ReplyDeleteFirst off, amazing work you do. I have two short questions regarding only video (no stills):
1. What are your thoughts on using the 16-35mm for weddings?
2. Is the glidecam ok with non-wide lenses like the 85mm 1.8? Focus issues? It doesn't appear that the glidecam allows focus changing.
Hey, love your work.
ReplyDeleteJust one thing: I just found your blog, and I wish you would make a few changes in the sidebar, or change the entire template. Just to make it easier for visitors to navigate.
Great job, keep up the good work!
Hey Devin!
ReplyDeleteRespect for everything!
I have a question : Your Nature/travel videos (kawai / washington enchantments... ) are they mostly shot at 720p 60fps ? cause you have pretty fluid motions with a really high def, and 5dMII only makes 720p 60fps or 1080p 30fps.
Thanks man keep it up!

For Diablo 3 players, one of the most attractive things for the game in recent days must be the patch 1.0.7 on PTR server. Although it is just available on PTR, you can enjoy these great changes before final Diablo 3 patch comes out. Compared with playing in PvE, playing in PvP mode really needs amounts of Diablo 3 gold as well as Diablo 3 items as you may be greatly damaged even killed with PvE items for PvP mode. Need to buy Diablo 3 gold or Diablo 3 items online? CheapDiablo will never let you down. Today I would share a post about Barbarian items stats in patch 1.0.7 PvP which is tested in PTR server!
